the Bear SG it's the hot season... just after the monsoons it's so damned hot that Indonesia is burning again and KL is covered in smog so bad from the burning forests in Indonesia that their pollution index is about 535.. anything over 500 is considered "hazardous to health" the gabrament there has gone ballistic and declared a couple of places to be in a "state of emergency" and shut down everything there.. including ports and airports coz they can't even see... we've been spared here because of the direction of the wind.. but the poor sods in malaysia are bearing the brunt of the smog.. we're just getting broiled here... which is better than getting smoked AND broiled
Lingos SG Oh yeah i forgot!!! I FORGOT the slash and burn. My friend was telling me about it and i was very worried about my grandma going out with the pollution. MOFOS!!! Geez i feel like a beach for beaching about my innane rubbish now.
the Bear SG it's all right.. we have to get on with our lives you know? anyhoo.. get one of these for your nanna... and ask her not to walk around outside if singapore gets hit with the smog.. the machine is pretty effective.. i'm thinking of getting one for me mom too.. if the smog reaches here..

the Bear SG a plasma-cluster whatchamacallit air filter.. it basically sucks all the yukky stuff in the air and cleans the air in your room... so no more pollutants..
the Bear SG damn.. if it's going to rain, like.. RAIN already.. a few drops isn't going to affect the heat and will only make the whole place more humid it's starting to "rain" now.. a few drops... and i really MUST get some sleep.. having 3 hours for 2 night shifts isn't very good
