I didn't sleep well last night Sad

InnoHippo SG

Rhonda SG

My exact sentiments! I never did like the Indoor Stadium as a venue for concerts. The Esplanade is a much better venue.

All said, I might not be able to attend at all because I'm rostered to work the NIght duty on that day. Crying or Very sad I was looking forward to attending it with a good pal of mine.

Rhonda SG

Did anyone attend the Diana Krall concert just a few days back?

I did. It was held at the Level 6 Convention Hall at Suntec City but once again, I would have preferred it if they had held the event at the Esplanade.

They didn't even carpet the common walkways so when folks got up to head for the restroom and what-not, the ladies with high heels sent resonating 'clack-clack's that echoed throughout. We thought it was some weird drums at first and then we realised what it was and it got pretty frustrating. I think Diana Krall herself was distracted by it at one point.

Sigh... why don't the organisers realise that for good acoustics, no other venue can equal the Esplanade? Evil or Very Mad

the Bear SG

i wager it's stupidity Twisted Evil

just like at the office, a couple of self-serving pieces of crap who tried to cover up stuff are probably going to die a horrible death because of their own stupidity

my team is in particularly good mood tonight Laughing

Rhonda SG

Wah, sounds like you guys are in a celebratory mood! Tell me all about it tomorrow! Very Happy

Have a good shift tonight!

the Bear SG

pretty good shift so far Wink

quite busy but the good kind of busy Very Happy

ilovemyrolex SG

But I think it's pure dollars and cents. Prob the Esplanade cost more to rent to have the same capacity.

the Bear SG

okay.. just asking around.. who wants to go to Qian Hu Fish Farm for a day out?

i think it would be fun! Very Happy

InnoHippo SG

InnoHippo SG

DONG .... DONG .... DONG ..... Mr. Green

Rhonda SG

It's LOUD! Oh sooo Loud!! Very Happy

A few weeks back, on a Channel 5 local program, there was a fish farm being featured where you could go there to fish prawns and live fish. I wonder if that's the fish farm place we're talking about here...

InnoHippo SG

no idea ....... seldom watch Channel 5 programs except for desperate housewives Wink

Rhonda SG

Oh, I love that series! Hope they'll release it on VCD's here! Very Happy

BTW, Hippo, would you be joining us for the midnight scary movie outing on the 22nd? It's gonna be SGPork's birthday too and I was thinking that after the movie, we could buy him a treat at Coffee Club. What say you? Anyone else interested in being a Night Owl that night? Wink

InnoHippo SG

midnight is pretty late for hippo ....... Neutral

Rhonda SG

Orh... Hippo is a Morning Lark, I see! Very Happy

It's ok... most of the time, Night Owls sit on tree branches alone one! Laughing

Rhonda SG

Oh gosh... I just realised how much I've been spending at 7-Eleven's just to get those Hello Kitty magnets given free with every $5 purchase!! Surprised

I think I'm having a minor heart attack right now! Neutral
