Rhonda SG Good morning!! Wonder what's in the news today! In a few hours, we herald the start of June!!! Boy, time really flies!! We're going to be at the halfway mark for 2005 soon! And yipers... I'm not even halfway in achieving my New Year's Resolution yet!

the Bear SG hungry thought of leaving makan until after work.. but after work got some stupid briefing and i don't wanna risk food poisoning from the crap they sell at the canteen... hungry
Rhonda SG Awwwww... I'm hungry too... but it's cuz I'm too lazy to step out of the house to go buy food. hehehe! Too engrossed with the very serious task of nua-ing! *chuckles! Anyways, should go eat at the Makansutra Glutton's Corner one night! The food's good!! Tried the leaf-wrapped char kway teow with lotsa cockles I put aside. Also, the Oyster Omelette was fantastic! And the Ngoh Hiang was delicious too! Next time, will try the Sambal Sting Ray and other grilled seafood and the satay!! They're open from 6pm to 3am. So, night owls can head there!

choco B SG Ooo now you got me interested. How's the place like... is it al fresco dining along the bay? Something like the previous hawker fair at Somerset MRT? Uhmm... d'you think it'll be hideously crowded on Friday night?
Rhonda SG Passed by the place on Saturday and Sunday nights and my word, it was packed!! I guess Friday nights would be equally packed to the brim! Yup, chocoB... it is like the previous hawker fair at the vacant lot beside the Specialist Shopping Ctr. Open air with the occasional breeze from the Singapore River. Look up and you see the clear night sky! Try going on weekdays... it isn't so packed then... well, unless you go right after a concert. You'll like it there! The stalls all have to get Makansutra's stamp of approval before they set up shop there!
Rhonda SG Have you seen the SBS bus cruising around town with a large model of the HL Banana-flavoured Milk Calypso Cow reclining across the back? Sooooo cuuuuuuute!
