choco B SG I have the same feeling about grills. Don't understand why we need window grills when there are only adults around. Not like we're irresistably drawn to fall out of the window when we're standing near it wad.
Rhonda SG Actually, a colleague of mine said that when she moved into her new flat, the windows were without grills and she was ok with it. UNTIL, theft happened. After that, she installed grills for security and peace-of-mind.
the Bear SG friends who went to uni in WA were burgled... so instead of hassling the landlord for grills, they bought a trap for the house in case of more burglars supposedly something like this: i think they were joking.. but they're mad enough to do it
