I live on the 2nd storey and whilst I enjoy throwing my windows
wide open for the lovely breeze, I also recognise that it's going
to be fairly easy for robbers to climb up to my apartment because
of the way the block is structured.
Sometimes, at night, this thought kinda scares me.
Besides, there's always this Sadako twit to worry about. I figure
if she could climb out of the well and out of the TV, she'd be able
to climb up, scale the walls, and climb in through my windows too!
Speaking of which, there's now a real security breach besides the
windows being grill-less... one of my bedroom windows has been
smashed by falling concrete from the upgrading works and whilst the
window is still intact, a little nudge will send the glass shards
shattering, leaving a gaping hole where my window's supposed to be.
Don't know how long the cracks will hold and how long it'll take to
replace it but it sure is something that worries me, especially
when night falls.
