Food for thought
My lecturer is a management consultant, very successful one
He had this client once, who is a Filipino, and is vice president
of a company
When my lecturer interviewed him, and asked him what he want to do,
within the next few years
the VP just replied he wants to retire and just sit back and relax,
and..look at the mountain behind his home everyday, and called it
quality of life
my lecturer couldnt understand it
that VP is young, is successful, going to be more successful if he
carry on, yet he chooses to retire within the next few years doing
nuthing but looking at mountains for the rest of his life
my lecturer is more of career minded, couldnt comprehend why
sitting at home watching mountain that doesnt change or move
everyday a quality of life
