the Bear SG here's a few stories floating around about THAT slice of LIME (not lemon.. actually, the mexicans use their local lime called a limon dulce) in a corona none of them very good the slice of lime is to prevent the flies from getting to the beer notice most beers are served in coloured bottles? light spoils beer... and coronas are usually spoilt when served but with the lime, it masks the taste of the spoilt beer taste and smell... it is said that most beer bottled in clear bottles are loaded with preservatives the bottle tops have no liners and there is rust on the bottle top and the lime is used to clean it up uhh.. makes not wanna drink the stuff huh? i think i'll stick to Guinness Draught
iveco SG OMG! Always thought that slice of lime made it unique. Will look at it differently now. Also, if I'm not wrong, Hahn's also comes in a clear bottle. There may be more brands. Gotta check the bottle shops.
