choco B SG Hahha cornices. Leftover relics of 80's home decor. Oh and its twin, arches. Everything's so rounded back then. Now we like the clean, sharp look.
Gackt247 SG oh yea.. Home decor has it's own fashion.. Anyway.. jiayou Choco B.. 10k milestone soon..
shinta SG i wan my future place to be close to nellie's brother's home the place is... to me, beautiful! but too much glass around, n nellie thinks it's kinda dangerous frosted fibreglass looks fine too
elindra SG Currently in the north but new place is not in the north And Shinta, my place have frosted glass too. As long as it is frosted it is ok. I have a good friend who has tried walking through glass 3 times!!!! And all 3 times it broke and she had to be rushed to hospital Anyway, all of us agreed that if we eer have glass in our homes and it has to be clear, we will stick Post-It notes all over when she comes visiting
shinta SG wow! hmm fibreglass would be much safer i guess nel was sayin it's not good to have too much glasses at home, esp if the occupants are gg to have kids tat changed my mind, from frosted glass to frosted fibreglass..
sohguanh SG So will you be doing all the rooms floor? Using ceramics? Marble? Homogeneous tiles 600×600? You will also be doing the toilet and kitchen floor and wall? Kitchen cabinet? Wardrobe? False ceiling L-box?
elindra SG True but not as bad as parquet flooring. I cannot imagine how my floor will look like with kids
shinta SG hmm as long as the kids not gg to bang their head against the glass, n bleed cos of that, any scratches etc, i wouldn mind hui xin tong de wor...
Gackt247 SG Of course xin tong.. Glass panels r expensive.. Replace parquet pieces very messy.. My poor furnitures all scratched n broken..
shinta SG Xin tong cos my baby/toddler/kid/pain in the neck (wateva is suitable den.. ) is bleeding.. not my furnitures furniture spoil liao can buy new de... my kid, if there's a deep cut on his/her arm or sth, tat's gg to hurt a lot... physically for him/her and my heart will definitely ache when i see my baby cryin cos of the pain
Gackt247 SG For me.. good riddance.. As a parent.. of course see ur kid injured.. sure heartache.. poor baby.. shh.. come.. papa come bao bao.. sayang.. dun cry already.. aww...
shinta SG of course must assume u have a kid mah when renovatin the place.. cos.. wat are u gg to do when u hav a kid? redo everything? but since ur first place's a pad for urself, den i guess it wouldn matter
choco B SG A piece of advice I heard: "Don't paint the doors white else children can't recognise door from wall and walk into it" .... If a kid was that stupid he deserves a few knocks to knock some sense into him
