Never been in that kind of situation although weird movie experience was watching School Days with a Pig at 10 AM, Ang Mo Kio hub with 2 friends and the rest of the theater empty. Ended up smack talking throughout the movie.

Then there's the Hachiko where almost everyone, guys and girls alike, come out sniffling from crying.
