This is between you and the hirer, there is no rule governing
it.
Industrial practice is, if last minutes said cannot drive, like
1 or 3 days, need to compensate 1/2 rental price. But if informed 1
week or more earlier, no penalty, as hirer is well aware.
However, it is just a practice, depending on the relationship,
like me and my hirer, we got no issue over all this, because he
helps me to cover, if he goes holidays or hospital, I cover for
him, ar ka liao one, but becareful, good relationship must cherish,
one wrong move only, can become enemy.
