with the invasion of 3rd party pick ups like uber / grab, cdg AJs and CJs have lost a fraction of volume. They counter with promos here and there to attract customers, but seems its doesn't last and has not much improvement.

gone are the days where mdt suddenly prompt u last minute AJs departures in the late pm.

gone are the days u can get the CJ when u are just so near to the pick up location. instead they are sending u on a wild goose chase, else always a pick up location u have passed earlier, meaning more travelling time and distance incurred.

more NO SHOWs, especially on AJs

Move backwards is OK.
Dun move forward is also OK.
Most importantly dun create a stressful environment for the TD…with these apps and creating more competitions and with declining paxs will lead to these situations. ..

1. TD going crazy due to stress.
2. More no shows
3. Too many buttons to press…one stupid grab job need to press accept lah, confirm lah, pick up lah, alight lah,
4. Stupid little note when you accept grab job sometimes appear in below in screen. So need to move forward to read. Font too small.
5. There will be more taxis accidents …mmark my words .

Taxi drivers must behave like prostitutes, if today no business, go back eat less and hope tomorrow, on the street there will be more business. And just like prostitution, you get street picked, on call or booked,

Street pick is the basic fundamental of Taxis driving, if get booked or called, you can choose to take or not to take. And again, just like prostitutes, if you go street pick but refuse to pick, standby to get complain, just like a prostitute who was approached by a customer but refuse to service him, that guy sure complain and grumble a lot. The only different is that guy grumbled directly at the prostitute, pax grumbled at taxi companies.

Oi you dont anyhow say cabby is like prostitute. I know for sure that cabbies are worse off than prostitutes. Why?

Our legal whores collect the 'fare' before beginning the service.

After collecting the 'fare', some whores can show black face and refuse to do this and that.

Lols, you said TD are more worst than prostitute,...hahahaha…but I agreed, typical prostitutes I asked them, they only stand 3 to 4 hrs only, can get up to $300-$400, no rental, no fuel to put, those better one can fetch $500-$1000 for that period of time..

...for that period of time, some of us taxi driver..still peng steering gum gum just clear rental and fuel cost. But bo bian, even we want to sell backside..who want?

But hor, I got once pick up a gay in his 40s from Chinatown CBD to woodland..actually I am not willing to take him, cos go ah wood is like end of the CBD 13th quality trip liao, but saw a LTA officer at that OG taxi stand, so bo bian…lan lan.

On the way, he ask me to open room with him…he ask for the price,...knnccb, CTE jam leh, slow moving, on hearing this, I nearly knock into the front bus..I say cannot lah, limpek straight type, why you pick a old man..he said, lau Goh better…nabey..wha, I dunno what to do, first, he is a pax, second, it is request, third, we are in a jam, he kept persuading me, said last time, got TD agreed…so, in midst of the jam, I went out of the taxi open the rear door..

I not outdate lah, I also do nite mah, but I not so chiong like them, it is base on my timming lah, cool and steady one. I also can earn in 1.5hrs, and plus covering fuel, another 1/2 hr with i40, let them all chiong first, then later I slowly go take those within the CBD one.

In taxi driving, there is no such thing as outdated, only outclassed.
