Weekend taxi relief rental is lower, for UberX and grabcar, the rental is the same. So most UberX and grabcar relief who hold TDVL changed to be relief of taxis hirers.

Like a Sonata half shift on weekend can fetch you $50+/-, if take TC wish, more cheaper, basic pte car for grab and uber is $55 + on petrol. So, in actual fact, on weekend, you see less grabcar and uberx.

For what I know, Grab or Uber did not rent short term car for drivers, so weekend LLSS also must go bid jobs, arbo take it as a family car lor, still go take a taxi to drive?.......

Lansai lah, nothing new lah, ah pu neh neh tua lup ni ni ah neh also can drive, housewife, security guards..malaysian, pinoys,..smlj also can drive for them. The model Uber and grab adopt is not responsible for the driver and pax, they are just an apps.

None of the taxi companies, uber or grab do background checks on their drivers. It takes a long time and is costly unless they have a PI license to do a quick criminal history check.

Application form just tick NO since nobody will bother checking. CDG backyard got so many idle taxis. Better have a hirer who was an ex-convict charged for robbery or assault with dangerous weapon, than to lose their rental income. Right?

Alot of full sleeves ang kong some even up to the neck driving taxis. Some use taxi to do ah long side businesses. You see their faces you know they done time before. Those bad guy faces. But still allowed to hold TVDL and drive taxi. Check? Rubbish if they do any checks.

I got nothing against them. However I do differentiate them by the kind of crime they commit. Those rapists and terrorists – knnb these types are condemn forever.

Then got those scammers, cbt, housebreaking, rioting, drug addicts, drug trafficking, insider trading, commercial fraud, crimes of passion. This type I am ok. I will just advise them to be more careful.
