Aiyo, inside every car there is a air filter, for every 20,000km
to 30,000km, it is best to change subject to the enviroment or as
you wish, it is located at the glove compartment inside, can pull
out to take a look if dirty or not, but do not wash, it is mend for
disposable.
You can get buy air filter from agent shop or any workshops
depending on yr car make, toyota, very common, korean car also
common. Some sell carbon air filter, mend for better filtering, but
very dry air.
When we smoke inside the cab with air con on, the smoke will
stain the filter, that is why it is very hard for the smoke smell
to go away unless you renew the filter, there will be less smell,
(older drivers like my CT go put smlj pandan leaves, coffee
powder..tsk tsk tsk). The cost of the filter is about $20 to
$30.
There is another filter in the engine suction side, that is
engine air filter, this one must change every 10,000km (preferred)
, so do not mix up.
