Unless you are on the way & the destination happens to be compatible. If not advance jobs not worth the down time.

Other good time to take advance jobs is off peak time. If not right after your lunch break or 1st job of the day. To me advance job with 30 mins ETA & below can take provided location is compatible. Especially in CBD after 1700H. That is $8+$3+meter. The more short trip the more better. Some pax are ready when 15 mins ETA.

Grab Taxi & CDG has most jobs. Issue is pax nowadays do double booking don't be surprised if kena fly aeroplane.

Road sweeping for night shift is not bad also especially when you sweep the hotels in the evening all the short trips good for ping pong. Tourist do not know how to make current call & tourist all go very near. Don't need to fly back to CBD with empty car.

Cdg has job bid apps for drivers, which I felt is useful if u want to plan your journey for the day. However my personal experience about advance job is there might be other opportunities on street which u might missed out. I am not representative of cdg or whatsoever. Hope it helps! All the best!

Unless you can spare time, advance job is good for you, but if you plying the road for street jobs, advance job can be a stress to you, you need to keep look out for the time and yet choose the pax inorder to go the right direction.

And for that matter, your heartbeat will beat faster…

before those grabtaxi launch..... cdg adv call easily 200-300 morning jobs for you to pick and choose every weekdays, recently go the weekdays adv call dam pathetic.... knn, less than 40 jobs each day.... phone apps really hit cdg very hard..... now you want sonata can just walk in and collect it on the same day.... somemore got $1000 cash incentive for sonata which are more than 3 yrs....

last time can slowly choose one by one

think next time there will be no more adv bk

but they way the assigned the CJ are likely to make u travel longer to get it.

hearsay cdg adv call many no show due to grabtaxi....

grabtaxi got many advantages.... on the way to pickup if see heavy traffic towards the pickup place can juz cancel the booking yourself immediately and tell pax to book another one, no show also no need to wait for approval, somemore grabtaxi pay $2 for no show, best of all.... got destination.... now cdg adv call only leave with those cb hotel with open destination around 7-8am, mostly going to tuas and jurong island.

Whatever it is, why we as drivers, who are in a way, brothers and sisters on the road, keep going on in belating cdg and grab calls??

We should be rejoiced at the competition of both that bring about gain for taxi drivers, as a cdg call taker, I would like to thanks grab for adding competition into the calls market, otherwise limpek where got this waive levy and that destination.

And as for grab, we also hv to thanks cdg call system which allow grab to see the flaws in cdg calls and thereby tweet it better for Singapore taxi drivers, which are we are and alway will be brothers in arm.

CDG always claim record bookings when news on competitor app gets highlighted. Otherwise u can dream on on such incentives

Don't have 90% increase la, at most 20% nia, very likely they meant use 90% of effort to get the same income, but you know la, journalist like to twist other people's words

Example if you already earning 7k increase 90% means can earn 13k ? Possible ?

As a CDG driver what I experienced was that pax like to do double booking by CDG App & Grab Taxi, then see which one arrive 1st. Both apps end up in no show.

CDG only market in 2 types, traditional call booking which no destination is listed. Otherwise pax use Cabcharge. Some pax also believes CDG more cashless friendly. For me I don't bother much. 70% sweep road especially after midnight. Sometimes take call end up aeroplane lagi fed up. All these stress for $2.30.
