Stomp has won an international award for its 360-degree
interactivity.
This win follows Stomp's earlier successes at the Mob-Ex Awards
2014, where it won the Gold award for Best in Original Content, as
well as the Bronze award for Best Use for Social Platform at the
event.
Stomp also took Gold for Best in Online Media in the category of
Newspaper Website at the Asian Digital Media Awards late last
year.
Stomp was among 30 of the world's leading news media that were
winners at the 84th Annual International News Media Association
(INMA) World Congress in San Francisco yesterday.
Stomp was placed 3rd in the category of Best Idea to Encourage
Print Readership or Engagement.
The other winners in this category were Žurnal of Slovenia and the
Irish Independent of Dublin.
Stomp won the award for its 360-degree interactivity, which
empowers citizen journalists to share news and opinions via the
website and its mobile app.

Stories contributed by Stomp's citizen journalists
are often picked up by mainstream media.
Stomp's app is a one-touch citizen journalism tool
that users can use to contribute stories, photos and videos, read
stories and post comments.
Numerous functional refinements to the citizen
journalism process are also added to the app, including the ability
to upload multiple pictures and videos with a single
touch.
Content navigation has also been enhanced, with
additional controls within an article that allow for sharing via
social media platforms, navigating between sections and text
enlargement.
With these key improvements, it is now easier than
ever for citizen journalists to report happenings on the streets
and enjoy the full Stomp experience.
