companies must pay corporate tax of 20%++ from their EBIT (earning before income tax), so if taxi company this
year earn 20 millions, 4 millions goes into LTA (govt) pocket, + those road tax which is a few
thousand per diesel cabs per year, so if transcab got 4000
commericalised diesel cabs having to pay 5k road tax per year per
cab, you go calculate lor.

However nowaday taxi companies can alway put their taxation into
their cab rental prices, and that is also why you see high rental
prices. Then fares went up and consumer(pax) end up having to pay
all these intangible taxation (cannot see one) lor.
