Like TD, last time ownership, now become hirer and somemore must purchase their fuel for better discount and follow their rules and regulations, but that time, TD never kpkb and bang table, so now lan lan lor.

If today TD is still ownership of his or her own taxi and Govt wants to change to hirers and no ownership, I think my ex chief will holds a taxi protest at LTA office in Sin Ming, sure win one..

\There are many old folks who still prefer wet wet market, even you put the whole of NTUC cum SS cum Shop and save or prime below, they also want to go wet wet market. This issue was last noted when SS and NTUC wanted to buy all the wet markets in Singapore to sell their product under airconditioned market, and all stall owners will come under rental + must order everything from them. Then all these stall owners bang tables, kbkp, public also bang tables..then govt scare lost votes. bo biah, allow them to carry one lor.

Last time got 1 gentleman work in Coca-cola......

Than 1 day, he happen to sit in 1 kopi shop, than he ask for coca-cola.....

Kopi soh tell him bo coke la, only Pepsi.....

Than without thinking, he just order lor.....

Never know his manager happen to pass by the kopi shop and saw him drinking Pepsi.....

And that $1.20 drink make him lose his job.....

First, our Goberment announce the changes of private operator taxi licensing that time, using law and act to curb transferring and selling of individual license.....

Before those TD can react.....

This big coy offer $10k per license to lure the "bait", if you sell, not only you will get $10k, you can still keep driving your own cab and this big coy will do spraying of colour for you FOC, than got call to take also.....

Term are just too good to reject, arbo, your license will remain a worthless piece of paper......

So you can see the picture? Everything is in "proper procedure"......

But when govt offer 30k to hawker for their stall licence to be given to SS or NTUC, no hawkers take it, and not only that, they can even protest it with their customers, who are wet market regulars.

So, Taxi drivers for 10k only, hanged themselves dry and high. No wonder people said… TD seibei ho jiak.

So now if TD is to offer back govt 20k to get back their ownership and also, able to spray the red or blue or maroon back to their own color free, you think govt give u back the ownership..also proper procedure mah

Actually hor, why compare hawker with TD? Both are very "unique" profession which operate very differently lor......

You can have 10 different hawkers selling the same food, but 1 outstanding 1 will have earning more than the rest.....

Whereas, no matter how outstanding a TD will to be, the earning will still be more or less the same compare to thoseeven lousy TD......

So if my stall everyday long long queue of patron, idiot than will share with those hawkers who have bad business.......

Some poor business hawkers sure want to sell, those good 1, LJ let you bite lor......

That's why they are more sensible.....

My old peer told me, lucky he sell back his license, arbo like his friend, until up lorry liao, than burn the license together for him to use on top meh.....

When yr old peer sold his licence, he believes as an individual, it is lucky for him, however, what scenarios will it be if he had not sold and that no TD in Singapore sold their licence.

Fren, govt will not absorb any empty business nor do any charity to us, they see the lucrative in this transportation of people business, any old TD today who experienced ownership of taxis can tell you that if they had saved during those years instead of spending it on horses and women, they would be living at seranggoon garden or any private houses in Singapore.

I already say so, our Goberment use law and act to curb first.....

Than this big coy "out of good will", 1 time offer nia hor.....

There's no way any TD could do even all join hand and don't sell.....

Ended up, will be holding a piece of worthless paper together lor.....

Our Goberment are "smart", they don't forcefully take back their license, you can hold it as long as you like, cannot sell, cannot transfer.....

Ultimately, when time cum, 1 by 1 report to you, that era will be completely over......

There is a very much different between short and long term vision, TDs are mostly good in short term vision, but our govt are good in long term vision, and that is why TDs fell into the trap and now LLST lor….Lan Lan Suck Thumb

If Govt is to enforce it, come 2016, I can tell you they are going to lose another GRC and a few single seats. And at that point of time, WP will tell them, last time, we told you we are just a co driver. But now we are your relief driver.

If you look at current govt intiatives of cooling housing, trying hard to cool COE, give older people better medical benefits and so on..you think they are not worry?

The atmosphere of today paint a total different stories of yesterday, just a simple example, last time when a minister come, everyone stand up, greet and shake hand with him, now he walks by, also nobody fark care, end up he have to look for people to shake hands just for the sake of media good exposure.

Sad to say that, but I can tell you, if it happen now, many private TD will still choose to sell.....

We TD are not like hawkers, a good stall can generate good money, but a good taxi don't guarantee that, somemore got to maintain la, pay tax la, buy insurance la, is a liability you know......

I only can say, last time $10k is really too little.....

To gather more votes will be very the difficult.....

No one will have the right mind to vote down ruling party, than bring up a useless party and make the whole island sink.....

Stars are born out of the blue, so are politician, every parties got is own problem, the mindset of Singaporeans must be in unity, same goes to all TD of singapore, because Unity is the key to many successful thing. But how to unite is going to very difficult, and that is why great leader are well respected for the ability to unite it people.

Singaporean must not look into just WP as a strong hold to challenge the Papaya, there are other parties who might hv some good candidates for consideration.

The aims is not to say which party should be there, the aims is to create a diverse parliamentary, in layman term, to hv different parties in the parliament, these alone will set pressure on the ruling party to perform and not suka suka set rules and regulation.

For example, if WP had not won anything in the parliament in the last election, you think govt going to reduce foreigners, you think govt going to care about Singaporeans, the old ones and so on, and you think they will be so courtesy to you whereby in the past, they walk with air and look down on you, You see the changing??

And in more lay man term, everyday eat the same rice and veges, buay sian meh?? add abit of roast duck, fish soup, tee ka also good mah
