I googled and found out that Sg from East to West is only around
49 km.
If you travel in a straight line at 50km/h, you might reach the
other end in one hour. 
(25 km north to south in case you are curious)
And we want to squeeze 6.9 million people or more on this tiny
island.
Well we cud try and take their advice and think laterally.... or
should I say vertically
