The
company, she added, was thrilled to help Ms Axson when it heard of
Magnus' love of Comfort taxis.
Guests
at the party, were treated to taxi-shaped sandwiches. They also placed "shift change" signs on
a taxi model.
A
cake-maker friend of Ms Axson's baked the taxi-shaped cake and
cupcakes decorated with blue taxis.
Ms
Axson said Magnus has been interested in blue taxis since he was
just 18 months old, pointing out blue taxis as she pushed him along
in his stroller.
"I
don't know why myself, but it was always the blue taxis. Never the
yellow ones," she said.
"We've
had occasions where we've been queueing ages for a taxi and
whenever one came that wasn't a blue one, and he would be unhappy
and wouldn't get into it."
The
family - Ms Axson, her husband, Magnus, and his five-year-old
sister Hanna - have lived in Singapore since 2011.
They
do not own a car and travel by taxi often.
Magnus
often keeps himself occupied while waiting for his sister's school
bus to pull up to their condominium by counting blue taxis whizzing
past.
When
he gets restless, his parents hand him an Apple iPad and let him
look at photos of blue taxis.
"The
boy can barely speak but he knows his taxis," said Ms Axson with a
laugh.
"We
can use it to keep him quiet for ages."
