STOMPer Ivan was annoyed to see this taxi that
was parked at a taxi stand outside Geylang East Polyclinic, while
the driver was nowhere in sight.
The STOMPer said patients from the clinic had to wait for cabs
by the roadside because other taxis would not stop at at the
stand.
Said the STOMPer:
"After visiting Geylang East Polyclinic, I saw a cab at the taxi
stand right in front of the Polyclinic, without any taxi
driver.
"Because of this, other taxis didn't want to stop.
"We patients had to go to the roadside to get a taxi.
"To make things worse, people were jumping queue and waiting for
taxis just 10 to 15 metres away.
"So why make a taxi stand for the polyclinic?"
