Well, alot of TD are old liao, and then young time, like me, play here and there, now engine and below brother all cannot stand liao,..so, yr under cannot stand is understandable lah..dun worry, we are on the same boat.

You see, people, especially middle age guys tends to produce more hormone on egos and pride instead of sperm. Most given a new taxis is like becoming a boss overnite, full of pride, kind of like I can drive a 2.3 turboed engine kind of feeling, and relief will be like a worker working for me, as such, the lost in monetary become secondary, pride and ego had over taken it.

As such, taxi companies, taking on these added advantages, rent out their car to one hirer, deal with one hirer and only look for that one hirer, much easier to admin and discipline. No rental, go for the hirer, accident, go for the hirer, LTA problem..etc etc..just call the hirer.

Aiya, former is former liao, now also not my chief, only in forum, I am like what people in real life like to say, 3 to 4 head snakes, or teochew people tends to say, ti kor liang, ti kor chor, (where is breezing and cool, go there and sit).

Last time, I sided my chief, then saw something not so right, jump to JDI and that crazy Rbs, then something not so right again, jump to join former RSM, than again not so right, joined lau CT2000, then moved here and there, now learned alot liao, but again, only in forum hor,

Clearly a clone by someone who wants to get us to open another kind of war with them, or as OT says, could well be him/them trying to promote their forum.

Either way, no concern of mine. I don't normally respond to clones, unless I know who the clone is.

Anyway whoever want to be chief/RSM/Lcp/Cpl all good luck to them. We only recognise ranks in real uniform.

Anyway back to TS, I also have to agree CDG is getting a bit too far. Wearing slippers/collarless shirt etc, is acceptable to have some rules, but to terminate for them, even if 2nd warning is a bit too much. This not military. Terminate should be for more serious stuff like being very rude to pax, insulting pax, cheating etc. This kind of minor breaches should not equal dismissal unless repeated over and over again with numerous warnings given.

Better to have a driver in slippers and t-shirt than a driver to sends pax wrong way and overcharge right?

I think like it or not, every organisation had their own protocol to follow, if the set of rules and regulations did not state anything, I would agree that it is wrong to penalise or terminate those wear slipper or collarless shirt,

but, by and large, its was written, noted and taught from every aspect of it discipline.

Harsh it might be, but if a provision of lax is given, the consquences will be great, then we might see more cdg drivers wearing slipper and collarless shirt. It is a thus a corporate image that one have to follow when one is committed.

Latest is locked MDT and your meter...

Many TD don't know CDG can just adjust your meter without even need to see you...

And by locking your meter is as good as taking back your taxi...

Tio pok from hiring only mah, can apply to be relief, now very less reliefs in the market,

if dun pok some hirers, how to get more reliefs to make it a 2 men operation taxis and also can meet the 280km to 300km mileage in near future..so, hirer, becareful.

i noticed one cabby in my neighborhood, his veh is in car park more than he's on the road, unless he's a graveyard shift driver as the car hardly moves out of the same parking lot

adjust meter??, lock MDT i can understand, adjust meter? how?

In the olden days, whenever meter need to adjust, like add on public holiday surcharge, drivers got to proceed back to office(some company still doing that)...

Ever since their state of the art MDT ready, drivers don't need to bother about adjustment of meter anymore, everything control by the Operation Dept...

So locking your MDT, you still can ply the road without logging on mah, now they even lock your meter, cannot press meter start, your taxi is as good as dead...

LTA won't make it compulsory to have two drivers to a cab. They will just increase the minimum daily mileage such that you have to drive 18 hrs at least to hit that mileage. So, you need to drive 2 full shifts and automatically you need 2 drivers to do that.

Now is honeymoon period, give another 6 months grace. After that, fine the Company, then Company fine the driver. You have no excuse cannot find relief. You think LTA set up the online matching portal for fark?
