1) have personally witness the speed camera activated when a vehicle speed pass in the direction entering sentosa. night time and flash light is damn obvious.

for exit sentosa i am not sure.

2) saw once tp holding a hand held speed cam on the direction entering airport in the morning. for so long, thats one and only i saw.

Sentosa speed cam is first time, warning, second time, fine, third time, ban you from entering. Same with jurong island

Here is a warning for everyone, by next year there will be 300 yes you read this right - 300 speed cameras most of which will be joined with red light cameras at junctions.

Knn this one is jialat, so better start practising driving within speed limits.

Recently I also kena 14kmh over limit, 4 points and a fine. Appeal sent but I'm not hopeful

I also kenna the first warning at sentosa, they told me, Uncle, 2nd time $130 + 6 pts hor, and one more time, ban your vehicle, not you.

Sentosa and JI or any Island so to speak are run by their own management, they decide on what to do, TP will then act on their decision and guide them accordingly, because the roads are all run by JTC for JI and sentosa management.

If they decide to fine them, they will inform TP with the cam, I guess your friend had in a way, speed too much, way above the 50 or 70km/hr.
