Just wondering.
Today, pick up a frail old lady. Took her to the polyclinic. She
cannot walk without help and has hail my cab from a bus stop. Some
passerbys helped her to hail a cab. Initially thought they were her
caretaker.
At the end of the trip, she asked for the receipt. Anyway, I did
not take any payment from her. I gave her the ride and receipt.
Are they able to claim the taxi fare from some charity or
government organisation?Is there a scheme where elderly needy
patient can get a cab and claim later?
Kind of sad to see them like this.
Cannot walk still must go see doc on their own....no one
care..

Whether she claims or not, a scams or not, troublesome or not,
ask yourself truly, have you done a good thing? if yes, give
yourself a good pad and be happy about it.
True charity work in a way of giving without any attachement,
remorse and questioning. Well done brother!
Whenever people want to cheat on Taxi fare or ask for this
discount and that discount, i would laugh over it. Because
taking advantages of a Taxi driver will never in a million years
make you a millionaire.
