How is your experience using some Vehicle Video Recorders? Missing video footages between files, poor video clarity at night, video hanging and short product life are some common problems.

How about your after-sales service experience with the seller? When your vehicle video recorder is faulty, are you able to get him to provide prompt technical support?

How much did you pay for one (nett-nett-nett price)? (with SD card, with delivery charge, with paypal charges, after currency exchange, etc) S$100+? or S$200+?

For us, we can definitely consider all the valid points. Maybe, we could try to offer a real good lobang in the near soon : )

Freight about 8 working days .

Spoilt and throw it away , China made , what else u want ?

So far so good .... still doing well .

I saw it as well , quite good day or night .

$50 products ? What else i want ?

Buy , spoilt , throw and buy a new one .

Since most of us owned a made-in-china video recorder before. Perhaps, you want to share some of the user experience like the following:-

1) How many months have you used your video recorder?

2) How many seconds is missing when the video recorder creates a new file?

3) Have you experienced video hanging so far? How/ when did you managed to realise the video recorder hanged on you!

Bet, it happened a long time before you realised that. It happened to me before.

Issue (2) and (3) are very scary problem. It is like when you managed to get a witness for a accident, then this person backed out the last minute.

So, having an unreliable video recorder can become very costly to you, when you need the video evidence to back you up.

Answer : just under 6 months

Answer : mine recorder in block of every 5 minutes . So if it is hang , just that 5 minutes block .

Answer : It usually happen when i start my engine . Solution ? Reset . A simple procedure . One pin reset .

If no display , means no recording .

If got display , red colour indicator showing recording .

Every once in a week , bring home have a check and format .

So far so good .

Nothing to be so scary about .

Answer : mine recorder in block of every 5 minutes . So if it is hang , just that 5 minutes block .

Okay. I believe your recorder has date/time watermark printed on the video.

Try to look at the time before the 5min file is up. Then, open up the next file and see what time the video starts.

You are likley to detect 4~5 missing seconds (in case of 5 mins block)

Nothing to be so scary about .

I am sure your LCD screen is running on energy saving mode - turns off after a while. If not, it may shortened the lifespan of the LCD.

Nevertheless, it is good practice to format card once a week (if you remember to do it). I tried doing it before. Then after a while, I tend to format less frequently and finally I give up becoz it is quite cumbersome when you have many things to bring home everyday.

Hi, I'm not sure about your recorder.

However, most recorders (with LCD) has this LCD sleep mode.

When you left the recorder for a while, the LCD screen will turned off by itself. Video recording continues...

So, not to worry

why i decided to buy was becos recently there was 1 black BMW driven by a cho-bu, reversed and knocked me. She very smart, quickly forward a bit and came donw... and said: "did I knock you? no right?" wtf?

I replied: " no? then why you come down? I got my pax to witness..." then she lan lan..

Thank ViGi for the reply!Hope they use good LCD panel,then last longer.If LCD screen not working,just to change it cost a lot.I think better buy new DVR.
