SBS3688Y SG I took a Comfort (auto) taxi today from CBD to Sgoon. instead of exiting AMK Ave 1 from CTE, he continued straight. I asked him where he's heading to and he replied exit AMK Ave 3. and then he travelled straight down the underpass below YCK Rd! I asked him whether he knew I was going to Sgoon Central and he said yes. and i asked him where is Sgoon central and he pointed Hougang direction! then i corrected him and directed him via Upp Sgoon Rd to return to Sgoon Ctrl. I ended up paying $4 more for a typical journey. when i reached the destination, the meter was $14.60. i gave him $15 and he said sorry and returned me $4 instead due to his mistake which i rejected. i told him to give me a 40cents change would suffice as he needed to earn a living despite making a mistake. he tried to return more change to me repeatedly but i refused. finally he said thank you to me and gave me my 40cents change. Being gracious not only brightens the driver's day, and also mine!
