SMS Alerts

Me a part-time cabbie, driving Tue/Fri nights, same like ALN. Are there other part-timers Tue/Fri here?

Me thinking if we can set up an informal sms alert group, to share information while we are on the road.

We can appoint an I/C, to whom we send info by sms (like where got pax, which cab stand got long Q to avoid, traffic jam, speed cam etc). The I/C then disseminates these info to the others via sms.

Got any interested parties?

So i see traffic watch all the time for u guys .... via online or radio etc sources .

Any sms i receive from member , i will forward to all members ....

Anyone willing to pay at your own expense , to be ic , u are welcome .

Thank you beli much, Guru ALN.

Received your msg this morning, info on the overheadbridge at TPE.

Motorists be careful... nowaday operation started as early as at 8.30am, many places never before.

This morning there is another new place at Alexandra road.

Think this is also a good ideal... Moh.

Good idea but so far no takers leh..

We have 2 liao..ALN and myself, who else out there drives Tues/Fri nites and keen to join?

I think it adds so much more fun and purpose to driving leh..that you are not out there alone..and can add to collection..why not?

2 Fri ago..got alert from Guru ALN that there were many pax at 3am at Bright Hill..I was at Yishun heading to town..made a beeline there..picked up a pax to Cambridge and earned $10 extra..good right??
