deathwish SG

Can i ask what is fastest route from AMK to Bukit Batok central during peak hours? I commuter

ALN SG

these are only my suggestions… other cabbies may have their own preference…

like town to CCK north… me confirm take PIE-BKE-KJE-exit CCK wan…

but if you ask poolman or some pax, he will surely take shorter route and along KJE-exit woodland and then stagmont wan…. why? his home ground mah… haha

aiya expressway all the way shiok mah….sit or drive also shiok what…haha… unless you tell me CCK north north 5 or 6 lah… but if you just tell me CCK north… me zoom expressway liao…haha

Vee4317l SG

u got cut lane and snatch pple pax or not?....haha

ofcourse I don do that, Bcoz Am Taxi Uncle too, is real dulan wan. hehee.........

Thank so much for SIC for all route, ALN seem like very old bird, mind to tell me how long U hv in this Trade ? but No obligation.

ALN SG

AMK to batok central?

morning peak hours all jam…haha

i will take upper thomson or marymt – lornie – PIE – exit batok east.

bt batok is like hougang town… the roads very curvy… fanciful but inefficient for driving…haha

ALN SG

yo mr vee, u driving PT/FT, comfort? nite/day? intro yourself in the thread on cabby list mah… then i know more about you…haha

me not old bird lah… me only here to chit chat and sometimes talk a bit nonsense here…. haha

Ya lor. No direct road that cut across the town. All the road curve here curve there, turn here turn there.

ALN SG

so deathwish, which route u taking currently to Batok? should be similar wat…

ALN SG

in terms of traffic flow, i think pasir ris is best… cos the town is rectangular in shape easy to enter/exit cos got expressway and 2 main road running parallel…

Vee4317l SG

Upper Thomson to Commonwealth ??? Tks................

ALN SG

upper thomson to commonwealth very clear cut wat

take lornie-adam-farrer-queenway reach liao….

this route is intentionally built to form a circular ‘expressway’ around town
i.e. from portdown AYE-queensway-farrer-adam-lornie-braddel-bartley… only missing the eastern continuation

ALN SG

AMK take CTE to commonwealth is indeed one big round…next time ask pax first… otherwise kena upside down…haha

sinicker SG

driving down towards Tuas direction on the PIE, you MAY experience heavy traffic forming up on lanes 1 & 2 at upper jurong rd/corporation rd exit, the flyover. in the mornings especially ard 7.45am+.

i immediately saw this and this was what i did.

chiong, signal left, keep left, exit.. drive straight to jalan boon lay/jln bahar junction at sheng shiong there, turn right... straight down and enter back PIE(Tuas).

ALN SG

eh sinicker, i used to stay jurong 20 years but i still catch no ball what you say… say clearer leh

Poolman SG

woodland to jur west

if near jur west St91: clear cut BKE-KJE-PIE-exit pioneer north

if nearer to jur east:
BKE-PIE-exit jurong canal dr
or BKE-KJE-exit brickland-batok road-PIE-jur canal

jur west if nearer corporation: BKE-KJE-PIE-exit corporation loh

BKE - PIE - exit Jurong Canal ?

Hey bro , long leh ....

Poolman SG

Woodland to jurong West.

Wlands to Jurong West clear cut la ....

BKE - KJE - PIE ( towards Tuas ) , exit either Jalan Bahar or Pioneer Road North .

sinicker SG

eh sinicker, i used to stay jurong 20 years but i still catch no ball what you say… say clearer leh

oops. now then i see your reply lol.

driving PIE(Tuas) in the morning... can see the flyover at corporation road/jw ave 2(?) exit get jammed up already.. i exit there, go str8, turn right at jln bahar... and enter PIE(Tuas) again at jln bahar.

Poolman SG

Wland to Bt Batok ....

Please use BKE>KJE > exit Sungei Tengah , use Brickland Road , it's the shortest , cheapest .

Unless it's HillView Side ***, can use exit Dairy Farm Road > Up Bt Timah > Hill View Ave .

*** denotes Bt Btk East Ave 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 , Bt Btk St 25 etc ...

Poolman SG

Also can ..... must well go all the way to Pioneer Road North > PIE ?
