CDG said to remove 30c surcharge when subsidied pump rate back to 1.19. Currently still 1.33.

So if pump rate fall below 1.33, cabby happy… if below 1.19, cabby and pax happy.

but diesel price quite strong, not falling as much as petrol… think cos diesel user need it to business, unlike petrol more for private use which is easier to cut down…i think

gotta admit that you cabbies are getting a raw deal both ends....

on the one hand, the operating cost is going up and on the other hand, the income is declining.

i for one has started to skip cabs becos it is getting costly. since i sold my car 2 months back, i started taking cabs on weekends to run my errands. after a month, i now rent a car instead the cost is roughly the same. i pay only slightly more on a car rental but i have the flexibility and no wait time.

hope things get better for you guys....

goes to medisave wor. not really helpful except that our medisave account increase by abit. Monthly medisave payment by us still depends on declared income. never see any cash from CDG one lah.

Shell Malaysia just launched its Shell Diesel with Fuel Economy Formula yesterday official launch . Should improve by few 1 - 3 litres km ?

havent tried it. but i doubt can save much if at all…

e.g. 98 versus 92 got much saving? at most 0.5km per litre more if at all…

Guru ALN...you are wrong this time, now diesel price down and down...outside all other kiosks like Exxonmobil $1.603 per litre, Shell $1.523 per litre, our is $1.28 per litre. So what is wrong with all this figures.

There's news that CDGE diesel to be lowered ty 8 cents to 1.20/Lit on 21 Oct 08...... juz wanna wait 4 the confirmation and hopefully it will lighten the load for cab drivers.

ASAP to waive the fuel charge la, don cost much too, we loose out more PAX, if waived more pax come back by 0.30 why not, any way I nv practic to collect too, some pax auto give one or they say keep the change. Serious two big deal, look for long run bussiness.
