Driver's earning up , waiting times down
Based on figures provided by ComfortDelGro, Singapore's biggest
taxi operator, cabbies are pocketing about $11 more a day, earning
about $318.
This $318 is base on an average OMO driver .
Not half a shift .
If rental $105 , diesel say $40 .... wow this driver if hit $318 ,
his salary a day almost $170 a day . Well fair enough .
Meaning if i take averagely $170 a day , wow this chap going to
earn $5100 per 30 days , without off day .
My colleague juz got $230 before deducting overheads from 5pm to
1am . He haven't finished yet , he finished at 5am .
If he packed off , at this time , let's calculate , his rental $54
, diesel $23 .... nett $153 , he off Monday , meaning if for 26
days , he'll be getting $3978 .
My calculation is base on just 5pm to say 1am , anything between
1am and 5am , i never count in .
I estimate this chap will be getting plus minus around there or
more ..... cos Friday night we earned more ... someday good ,
someday bad ....
Hmm ..... for those cabby-to-be , can seriously think about driving
a cab .
Now consider bad times ..... if T3 fully functional , AirAsia gets
on track , Singapore Flyer starts at March 2008 , then non-stop
conventions and exhibitons at Suntec and Expo .... F1 Night race
....
And both IRs ........ good times lies ahead !
I am not quitting for now .
