Now taxis over demand .... it's a must to cut a slice of
commuters to take MRT and buses .
Not that taxis not enough , the demand has increase a few folds
over the years .
Due to diesel hike , they have to encourage those at outskirt area
taxis to go down town to support the demand .
Outskirt since no demand , create a perks for them to come down ,
pricing is the main motivator .
Eg , me at Yishun , to come down town , my diesel cost is about
$1.50 , since same flag down , why come down ?
Now when i'm at Yishun , i rush down ..... that $3 covered my
diesel cost . Worth coming down .
