I flagged down a maxi cab ytd nite around 1am at dhoby gaut area. The uncle told me that if I wanted to go to pasir ris, I must pay him an extra $10 in fuel surcharge on top of the meter fare and midnight surcharge. He say his fuel expensive and he needs to change shift at Jurong.

Has there been a change of rules? Or is that guy a bastard out to con poor student's money?

He's out to con your money. Taxi drivers never had the right to charge for fuel. It must come out from his own overheads.

Got ever 5 fellas want to take my cab , i charge them $4 each from Boat Quay to Taman Jurong ! Twisted Evil ($20) ... They say thank you until buay hoo .... Cos take 2 cabs total about $32 .

Their rental almost $130 per day .... ours $92 per day , if they ply the trade like us , why must they drive a Maxi ?

Normally , if u dial for a Maxi Cab , it's a straight $8 booking fee i think ... so more or less , he is charging you for a booking .

Since u never take , hope u understand their position of being a Maxi Cabby , again , by right , cannot , but by left .... like i say , 5 fellas , what u expect .

I guessed if u complaint also bo pian , they are protected species by CityCab .
