As far as i know , there's no cabbies who choose not to pick up any customers got a $100 fine and 3 points deduction , the furthest they can go ..... a warning , and it's just a verbal one , not even a written one .

There is only a few cases i saw they lost their job .... they beat up customers , threaten customers , cheated customers , violence conduct ......

As for one chose not to pick up customers with pets , no one even gets a stern warning .... cos this is a very good valid reason .

Trust me...if any cabbie should try that on me, he will lose his job. I don't usually go out to break people's rice bowls but on the two occasions that I raised a racket against cab drivers, they were sacked. Mr. Green

Now economy turning better , 30% of Comfort cabbies has manage to find a new job , and turning to new taxi operator etc ......

Now they stuck with 3000 taxis in the back yard , u go on multiply , 3000 x $92 , how much of lost revenue if they sack more players ?

I have respect for polite drivers but you definitely don't belong to this category.

Don't be too C O C K Y because there is always KARMA. You never know one day your loved ones may need cab for life and death matters and no cab is taking them. Unless you tell me you have no family yeah? LOL.

The arrogance of Singapore cabbies is the reason for poor service. The way forward is to campaign to allow foreigners to drive taxis in Singapore. The government has been resisting it so far to protect local Singaporeans but all it has done is to generate a group of ungrateful, selfish drivers.

Singapore cabbies are just not hungry enough. Bring in the foreign talent to raise competition! It will improve service and lower fares.
