Ikea Tampines the road design not very good ..... car park driveway same with taxi stand driveway .... jam !

The car park can contain 1500 cars ........ Q-up to get into the car park .

Now the problem , customers cannot get a cab , cos we shunned that taxi stand ! Jam ma , wasting time to stuck in the jam to pick a customer just to go nearby .

Even if u placed a booking .... we not likely to take it , unless the congestion clear .

Solution : Walk out to the main road , and wait for a taxi , it's a better option .With heavy stuff ? Then tough luck !

My analysis , with the Courts and Giant Megamart coming up , sharing the same driveway with Ikea , i smells trouble to drivers .

4500 cars to the carkpark sharing the same driveway , trouble !!

I was assigned 7 bookings from Ikea Tampines , i rejected all .

Funny enough , 5 going to Sengkang , 1 to Punggol and I to Tampines St.91 .

man!! they shld make the taxi stand bigger and better for people to wait , like these will make things chaos.

Still remember the Yishun Shuttle case on the first day (30 Nov) where people shouting and fighting becoz they cannot board the bus , some of them even scold vulgraties. Shocked

Wrong! That has nothing to do with the size of the taxi stand , it's the location of the taxi stand . The size of the stand is ok , can contain quite a long Q of customers .

The designing firm should make the taxi stand away from the car park entrance .

Now presently , cars going into the car park must drive up the driveway , same to taxi going into the taxi stand , taxis also must go thru' the same driveway , nutz la the designer , now they got back-fire .

They should know the problem Plaza Singapura have , same problem , then what happen ? Jam from Istana til the PS car park entrance .

Lot-1 also the same problem .... Tampines Mall also the same problem .

They share one similiarity , all is jam up during weekends especially .
