And lastly , he's might be an old chap , he might not know where's Bugis , but when you say " Tua Poh " or " Sway Poh " , he might know where !

My advice : be courteous to have your say and have your stand , pay him what you previously pay for , even if it's a ridiculous price , he had to accept .

Just be fair , don't find fault with drivers all the time , the Basic Realistic Principle must be there .

he just unlucky to meet this kind of driver .

Sway Poh = "xiao po" in mandarin (or "xiu bo" in cantonese dialect) = smaller part of Singapore city centre (Bugis area)

REMINDS me of ANOTHER 'STUNT' they PULL!!

They driving FAST to a JUNCTION then they SUDDENLY ASK YOU "Which way you wanna go by...??"

When you suddenly look up and see where you are, then the driver would go...

(imaginary) "DEH. TIME'S UP!" He already crossed the junction and chose his 'path'....

When you QUESTION HIM, he'll tell you... "I ASKED YOU BUT YOU NEVER SAY...."
