My biggest tip in Singapore was 90 cents and AU$2 in australia(Sydney, taxi for is very expensive, 6 seconds 10 cents).

Well what will happen if the passenger(s) happened to pay the fare using $50 note, and the change happened to be given out?

What comes out in the end is still a $50 big note for a cabby.......that's a lot for everything he/she needed for cabs........!!!

Keep the change......then even better still........again what comes out in the end is still a $50 note!!!

The biggest tips for me is by my regular customer (local) who stays in US

1 trip from Equatoria Condo to airport, he'll give me $100

Another American couple i pick up from Boat quay to Hyatt Htl, give me $50 including the taxi fare. Reason being, on my mishap with the US navy & they feel shamful for their fellows country man.

My another regular customer, he got stuck in Takashimaya during weekend & its was raining heavily, he called me up & i rush there to pick him up & send him home at St Martin road. He paid me $30 including taxi fare
