The flag down increase is justifiable , but the peak hour
surcharge ? No cabby complaint leh , why increase ? There is no
need to adjust peak hour surcharge .
The only adjustment needed is to adjust the timing of the evening
peak hour period , now it's 5pm to 8pm ...... should be extended to
5pm-11.30pm .
It should deprive some commuters from taking cab un-necessarily ,
and those who really alot of barang barang , and needs a cab , must
pay $1 more .
Now the scenario is after 8pm , those waited b4 8pm for peak hour
to go , rush to take taxi after peak hour , cab really cheap to
take , most bo chap siow , just take , and most think the same way
...... cheap what ? From Orchard to Tampines only $10 . What's $10
now ?
In fact , the main problem from commuters , got problem taking a
cab is at City area , the rest of Singapore no problem in the
evening .
The company should adjust prices in a way , it gives us extra perk
for us to support the demand in the city . No extra perks , why go
into city ?
