ha ok seriously, the cars that taxi companies use for their cabs are a special type specially designed for cabs or what? Neutral why can they run on diesel yet the usual cars we see on the road cannot run on diesel? and what will happen if we put diesel into a petrol car and drive it? Razz

Cabs are cars with diesel engines, usual cars are cars with petrol engines, if you put diesel into a petrol car and drive it, it becomes a car that will no longer do what a car is supposed to do. Laughing

taxis legal speed limit is 90kmph.. theorectically and practically, also can never hit like 150-200kmph.... then its always on the roads for almost 24 hours a day.. very high usage..so use diesel engine,, cheaper also, soime more after 8 years must scrap..

engine dirty or weaker due to prolonged usage also not really matter..

but mainly is because diesel is cheaper
