huiz SG i always bio the meter from time to time, so even if the taxi driver forgets to press the meter, it wun be long b4 i see it. one qn here...wat if u r taking the taxi to a destination for a first time(means u going to tat place for the 1st time), & the driver forgets to press the meter, how how??? u wun noe how much to pay leh.
105090 SG so why will they want to change companies? taxi drivers work rather independantly from the company actual. from my point of view, this means driving which cab makes very little differences, as the rental / rates are almost the same
sgboy SG If the drive forgot to press the meter, he should accept the fare which is much lower then usual. That is his problem. By right, we pay according to the meter. Since the meter shows what, then we pay what. He can’t do anything.
