History of Citycab in Singapore

From wat i noe..it was formed from the SBS/SABS/SCC in 1995. And this year we celebrated 10 yrs of Citycab in Singapore.

SBS = Singapore Bus Services , White and Red color Nissan model , many drivers is Singh ! Mr. Green

SABS = Think it's Sinagpre Airport Bus Services ? Green color if I'm not wrong .

SCC = Singapore Commuters , formed by SAF or Singapore Technologies , only for those who have completed National Service . Mostly young guns at that time . Later initiate to merge with 3 into 1 , forming CityCab , to compete with Comfort Transportation .

With CityCab , Comfort never gets threatened , they got stronger .

But Comfort management - s.u.c.k.s !

SBS taxi use to have Toyota Corona And Nissan cedric.Same goes with SABS

SBS taxis used toyota coronas mainly.. then changed name to CityCab.. i think is because the SBS taxi painting too ugly..

Anyway... With CityCab's parent initated merger with Comfort, it became stronger!

Now, CityCab and Comfort Mgmt merged

They had an overhaul in the management , it's not a secret that six months ago , alot of old staffs , was given some golden handshake !

Oh yeah , kana retrenched !

The merge in management ? Rolling Eyes No la , Comfort in control with the taxi operations . Some CityCab staff , i would say , got the axe ! Some was transfered to SBS TRANSIT , some to CAS ( Comfort Automobile Servies ) ...etc..

Comfort in control for Taxis ops , Delgro in Bus services .

SBS itself also axed ppl
