unobitch SG Hi! I am uno! My favs: Ikan Masak Assam Gulai (fresh mackerel simmered in spicy tamarind gravy flavoured with lemongrass) Ayam Panggang (deboned chicken thigh and drumstick flavoured with coconut milk rich in exotic spices and grilled to perfection) Yummy!
Kuali Baba SG Elindra: That's bakwan kepiting and it's one of my favourites too. I also like satay babi goreng, laksa lemak and beef serondeng.
elindra SG It slipped my mind but my mum has a teochew name for it. The ba ba blood in me is damn diluted and this is one of the few receipes that is left. Can say this is my mum's best dish though she is not a ba ba herself. She learnt it from my grand aunt.

unobitch SG hi LazerLordz! I am uno Yes, u can consider Assam Fish Head to be Peranakan food as it is a Nonya rendition of the famous Indian dish. More assam (tamarind ) is used. It's served well at This Place Have a nice day
Kuali Baba SG Chilli Padi? Haven't been there. I like Nonya Sayang near River Valley. Not that I dine out at Peranakan restaurants often anyway.
