On the contrary, it really depends on how u see it.
Thing is, Apple is selling the lifestyle side of the music
experience wif the iPods and it's iTunes. Technolgy and ya
lifestyle habits changes and does so in rapid times. Is a portable
CD player hip anymore? useful still but in terms of portability and
size... mp3 players is the way to go. But, for how long this fad
will last? Perhaps, new technologies will emerge and kill thes
players.
So, coming back to the batt thingy... perhaps they are targeting at
ppl who are looking at the lightest player and that they wun
listens to music 24/7 kinda thing. Visualize the picture of a
person who takes shuffle for a jog. That said, u wun need a
hey-we-kill-iPod-with-our-long-lasting batt to finish task like
that. Also, consider the addtional weights too.
