Keeping extra change:Lucky accident or minor theft?

Ok I think I got lucky while buying a ticket, I was given back the same amount when I handed the cashier 50 note...I did not check the change on the spot only realising it later .

Wonder how many of you guys got that experience and did you feel guilty?

I experienced this before. Didn’t realise it until I got home. Couldn’t have done anything liao. Didn’t feel guilty but it felt like a windfall…....

it's not an offence. not stealing or robbing. maybe you went against your morals only.

But i usually return the change if it's like more than $10 coz when they close acc at the end of the day, the poor cashier has to pay for the loss... and they earn so little already..

If the case is pursued and proven, will it not be? It's not finders keepers scenerio where you pick up money on the streets...
