u can get cooking books by 'novum'.they got many types of
cooking books. simple and good for beginners. u can also borrow
from libraries. so many u can find there!my favourite book is
'hawkers' fair' (fantastic book!) by chief alan kok and 'local
delights' by novum.got simplified recipes of fried oyster omelette,
fish-head curry, hainanese chicken rice etc inside.you can also
check youtube for videos of cooking.
