The Elephant Vanishes is a collection of sometimes weird, and
mostly wonderful short stories by Murakami.
From the weird like The Elephant Vanishes where the adopted town
elephant vanishes, to the surreal in The Dancing Dwarf. However,
they are all engrossing and makes you want to read to discover what
plot and twists the author has in store, and when you find none,
the feeling is still similar, one of awe of the author's rich
imagination.
It is a great read, the reader, when a story ends, hastens to start
another because the next almost promises a similar journey. 4 out
