The Possibility of an Island - Michel Houellebecq
What if you had the possibility of eternal life?
Not continuously, but you are cloned and your past lives are
available to you. But with this eternal life, comes eternal
isolation from everyone else, communicating only through electronic
means.
A depressing book. Where a man loses hope, and becomes extremely
cynical, never knowing happiness, and where the only happiness he
found destroys him.
Not for the depressed. 3 out of 5
