Engine
The higher-end LUXEL 1.8 model comes with the new 2ZR-FE Dual-VVTi
engine, with 1.8 liters of displacement producing horsepower of
136PS at 6,000rpm and 175Nm of torque at 4,400rpm. 2ZR-FE has Dual
VVT-i which varies valve timing optimally for various engine speeds
and loads on both the intake and exhaust valves.
Fuel efficiency is supposed to be 5% higher compared to
conventional engines.
This explains the 17.2km/l and from what i know, it can be higher
depending on driving habits.
