SINGAPORE: Two boxes containing body parts, believed to be of a
woman, were found in the Kallang River on Thursday.
A cleaner found the first cardboard box at about 9am during a low
tide, police said.
It contained the lower abdomen of a woman, wrapped in a translucent
plastic bag.
A few metres from the first box, another box was found containing
the upper torso, without the head and legs.
A search is on to locate the remaining body parts, and the police
coast guard has been called in to comb the Kallang River waters
