Hi all, Im interested in becoming a muslim. Can
someone please explain to me the basic beliefs and important notes?
Where to buy the Qu'ran? But I dont understand arabic at all. Must
prayers be conducted in arabic? Is it a must to pray 5 times a day?
How to perform prayers? I come from a chinese family, so how
can my family prepare halal food? Do the chicken, fish or
meat have to be halal? Does that mean I cannot eat from chinese
food stores that are not certified halal again?
What about attire? Do I have to go to a mosque frequently,
dressed in appropraite attire? What about giving zakat? Is there
any rules for zakat? In the month of Ramadan, is it true that
muslims cannot eat, drink or have sex from 6am (dawn) to 6pm
(dusk)? No food or water at all for 12 hours?
Is smoking tobacco forbidden in Islam? Hope
someone can answer my questions truthfully and accurately.

You can easily go to any mosque and ask these questions mah. Btw,
Do your parents know ur converting? It would be alot easier if they
know.
