They do that to remember the incident that took place during
Prophet Ibrahim's time.
God instruct him to sacrifice his son. And he did. But as he was
about to sacrifice the boy, god replaced him with I forgot, a lamb
I think.
Arabs sacrifice camels. Here they do it with goats and
cows...
