To add on, the Overseas Absentee Voting Act,
officially known as Republic Act No. 9189, is a
law in the Philippines passed on February 13, 2003 which
provides for a system for citizens of the Philippines currently residing or working outside
of the Philippines to vote in an election.
Let's get it in simple english
Not voting because she chose not to is entirely different from
not voting because she was restricted and to a certain extent
denied the right to vote.
To put it simply, this is definitely debatable in court;although
she is a maid.
One fine day , she may have the financial means to engage a
lawyer .you never know because everyone has the ability to succeed;
meeting the right person at the right time in addition to all other
uncontrollable factors.
